HOW MUCH DOES ACUPUNCTURE COST?
Each patient brings unique health concerns to our office. The total cost of treatment depends on the types of therapy needed and the length of therapy needed. Patients can be treated with or without insurance. Please contact our office at 702-732-0178 and our staff will be happy to answer your questions and to help you in any way we can.
FOR PATIENTS WITH NO INSURANCE
Initial Visit $135 to $195 for new and inactive patients (includes evaluation and first treatment session)
Follow-up visits $75 to $135 for each treatment session
Cuppings $35 each session
FOR PATIENTS WITH INSURANCE
We work with most insurance companies that provide coverage for acupuncture treatment. The following are some of the insurances that we accept:
As a courtesy to facilitate prompt treatment, our office will file claim forms for patients and assist patients in every way we can. After we verify that the patient’s insurance covers acupuncture, we will bill your insurance company and charge you only the required deductible, co-pay or co-insurance. If Dr. Lok is not contracted with the patient’s insurance company, and it covers out-of-network acupuncture and related services, you will be charged our regular rates and our office will provide a claim form for submission to your insurance.
Call our office at 702-732-0178 if you are unsure about your coverage. Our staff will be happy to verify your insurance and discuss your benefits or payments.
Patients can also call the phone number on the back of their insurance card, or simply call our office at 702-732-0178 and ask our staff to verify the insurance.
It is our policy that payment is made at the time of each visit. We accept cash, check, bank debit cards, AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, or any Benefit Cards issued for a Health Saving Account (HSA), Medical Savings Account, Flex Benefit Plan or other pre-tax plan offered by your employer.
FOR PATIENTS WITH MEDICAID & MEDICARE
There are currently no Medicaid, Medicare or any supplemental insurance benefits for acupuncture services.
FOR PATIENTS INJURED ON THE JOB (WORKER’S COMPENSATION)
The patient's primary treating physician in your worker's comp case will refer you directly to our office. If your case is a worker's comp case, please tell us before starting treatments, as pre-authorization is required.
FOR PATIENTS INVOLVED IN MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT
If the patient was involved in an auto accident, we will bill the medical insurance portion of the insurance policy, commonly known as medpay.
FOR PATIENTS WITH LIENS
Liens are not currently being accepted.
If you have any questions about your insurance, please feel free to contact our billing department at 702-732-0178.
